SKIING LIKE A RACING DEMON

We left for the Rufikopf and just missed long queues. At the top we turned to the right and went through thick snow to avoid the ghastly bit, then joined up with the normal route and had the most perfect ski. The sun was out the whole time and it was so warm we skiied in jumpers.. Then went up the Hexenboden. Huge queues so we cheated and joined the ski-school queue (even Daddy!). My skis go so fast they overtake Pa - I led most of the way. We walked to the Zursersee lift and queued about half an hour - the queue was so long that it went up the slope and down again. I went up with Chump and she kept on screeching "maligre" ("weed") because of this drip of a French boy in front! Glorious ski down.
Schlegelkopf after lunch with Daddy, then Kriegerhorn. No queues. We went down first by the Nordhang, and then onto the Osthang, which is harder - very bumpy and rather icy. But I liked it, especially when we got onto the Standard Run - I went like a racing demon. Poor Daddy fell over several times and whenever he does he gets a headache. We did the Standard Run in 19 minutes.
When we got back Chump informed me I'd just missed Dutronc. But we are now in the sitting-room and I've just realised he's sitting at the table by the fireplace - how lucky I looked!!! Now he's just come with his parents to sit at the next-but-one table.
Wore my green corduroy skirt, white ribbed top, and bunches, and sat in the bar before dinner with drinks and crisps. Dinner at 7.20. He kept on turning his head to look at the Dutch girls (who are now staying here). I am very jealous. I wish he would give me a sign of recognition sometimes. We had super grapefruit and orange cocktail, steak, and hazelnut ice-cream.
At 5 past 9 I went up to bed, but they'd gone. So had the Dutch girls.
