TWO FLIRTY BOYS

TWO FLIRTY BOYS

F R I D A Y,  3  F E B

Anya and me spent most of the day at school in fits, again. I think it annoys Lucy.

Saw 'Crackerjack' and Eric Burdon! But he wasn't as grinny and bouncy as Karen said he was. He's terribly short - I never realised before. The New Animals have got violins, pipes, double basses etc!!!

Ma and Pa went to dinner in London at Diana’s (Lady Eliot’s). When they’d gone the bell rang. It was two flirty-type boys who asked about cleaning the car. My heart was thumping for about a quarter of an hour after they’d gone. Of course I said no. Ghastly.

Chump and me both had a bath, then talked for ages about summer in Finland 1965 and all the boys (Chubby Face, Whiffer etc etc), then we got onto all the old records including 'Um Um Um Um Um' by Wayne Fontana!

Couldn't think of Dave Berry's first song and still can't, it's driving me mad. Chump insists it's Little Things but it isn't. That was his second one.

[The Crying Game was released in 1964, and Little Things in 1965. Ed]

[Eric Burdon was 5'5".]
