Woke up to a bright blue sky!

Took table into the cockpit and had breakfast there, gazing on the boats in the sunshine. Went for a super sail to Seaview, Isle of Wight. Ma, June, Chump and me sunbathed in our bathing costumes - pretty blissful. Daddy loves my new bikini! My face is now beetroot red.

For lunch moored off Seaview - Ma had brought a whole cold chicken, which was fab. Going back, we found to our horror we were nearly aground outside the lock, but we made it. June enjoyed herself like anything, and we waved to Monsieur Gonti on Trintel - on the way there and on the way back!

Went to the Stores and got ices - that nice chap was there again; he smiled at me.

In the car on the way home us three told Daddy off for being so arrogant on the boat.

At home we tried Ma’s liqueurs - I had the Chartreuse Vert because that's Antoine’s favourite. It tastes like gin. Then I looked up on the map Polnareff’s hotel in Knightsbridge (Beaufort Gardens), the Pye Studios (Gt Cumberland Place), and the Bag O’ Nails (his ‘boîte de nuit’) in Carnaby street. I can't wait to track them down.

All day my legs ached, in different places, too.
