Sister magazine to Salut les Copains, the French yé-yé magazine. This is the December 1967 cover

S A T U R D A Y,  1 6  D E C E M B E R

Got out my Lapland top, first time for ages. It’s rather super in a hippyish way.

Since Mummy hasn’t mentioned that Mark was there last night I expect he wasn't. He was probably at a party or something. I’ll just have to get used to the idea that it’s perfectly likely he’s either going out with a girl or is in love with one. I don’t expect he even remembers me.

I wrapped six Xmas presents for the mental patients and made little labels for them.

Read 'Mademoiselle Age Tendre', picked Christmas roses, put up my three cards above my window and cleared out my clothes cupboard. Only in the evening did I get down to anything useful: I started on Mummy’s table mats and I’ve finished two of them. I’m so pleased I can’t stop gloating. It is satisfying having done something creative.

In the evening Ma and Pa went to the M.A. party. Chump and me watched a lot of TV.

Can’t say I’m looking forward to Friday.
